چکیده
It is important to highlight that agriculture one of the sectors will be directly affected by climate change scenarios in recent years. There are a number processes such as drought, floods, temperature, salinity etc along with other forms biotic factors posing significant impacts on crop yields various crops due their fluctuating scenario environment. Espousal smart technologies and practices like variety selection, efficient climate-based cropping system, agricultural water management (AWM), balanced fertilization, contingency planning, recarbonization soils, no-till integrated farming site specific nutrient being advised exercise many regions for climate-resistant agriculture. These approaches minimize soil disruption energy usages, enhance health alleviate greenhouse gas discharges, unproductive losses improve efficiency land use result greater production reduced fertilizer usage. As part this strategy, weather stations mini-weather lookouts set up at village stage register relevant observations rainfall, wind speed relative humidity furnish customized agro-advisories farmers, which reduce detrimental consequences attributed climate. A approach integrates farmer’s related technologies, plans, institutes, policies financial packages. So, initiating choice site-specific crops, development tools, diversification improvement varieties, syndication forecasting tools proper resources community level can effectively resilience

Climate change impacts on crop yield, crop water productivity and food security – A review
This paper provides a comprehensive review of literature related to the assessment of climate change impacts on crop productivity using climate, water and crop yield models. The existing studies present that climate change models with higher spatial resolution can be a way forward for future climate projections. Meanwhile, stochastic projections of more than one climate model are necessary for ...
متن کاملArable crop disease control, climate change and food security
Global food security is threatened by crop diseases that account for average yield losses of 16%. Climate change is exacerbating threats to food security in much of the world, emphasising the need to increase food production in northern European countries such as the UK. However, to mitigate climate change, crops must be grown so as to minimise greenhouse gas emissions (GHG); results with UK oi...
متن کاملEnsemble yield simulations: crop and climate uncertainties, sensitivity to temperature and genotypic adaptation to climate change
Estimates of the response of crops to climate change rarely quantify the uncertainty inherent in the simulation of both climate and crops. We present a crop simulation ensemble for a location in India, perturbing the response of both crop and climate under both baseline (12 720 simulations) and doubled-CO2 (171 720 simulations) climates. Some simulations used parameter values representing genot...
